Hammockland Relaxation Stations - Action Hero Network

Hammockland Relaxation Stations &
Action Hero Playspaces

Hammocklands create safe space to rest easy without leaving the party. To dancing the night away, we need time in the shade. Relaxing quiet nature helps us connect with others and form community.

Hanging HUGS are luxury hammocks sewn by Corazon Ringmaster, who takes fun seriously. HUGS are constructed with top quality fabrics and climbing rope to hold five hundred pounds-- easily set up in seconds without hurting trees, or using simple teepee structures.

Corazon has created art therapy playspaces and comfort zones for nearly a decade across Canada, USA, Mexico and Uganda. He brought the festival vibe to disaster zones after hurricane Katrina to rejuvenate volunteers and rebuild communities. Numberous times Corazon has led groups to Mexico and Uganda to develop cultural exchange opportunities. These profound experiences are brought back to festivals shared through multi-media presentions, talking circles, art installations and workshops to encourage others to become an action hero by developing skills, getting involved in their communities and taking action toward expanding their boundaries.

Hundreds of Hanging HUGS hammocks have been freely provided at festivals and sold to support Action Hero Network projects in Uganda such as Endless Summer Camp Children's Village. HUGS change lives!

DANCE HOOPS

Hula hoop dance is another gift Corazon loves to share. Tricks and tornado speed flow dazzle on-lookers, but more than anything, Corazon enjoys empowering others to try their hand at hooping to see how easy it can be. There is no wrong way to play! It's fun to sit in a circle with a group so each person has a turn in the middle showing what they can do. Hoop workshop participants also get to design a hoop of their own to take home!
